You probably have at one time or another come across hacks in everyday life shared by friends and family. Maybe even searched Google, Yahoo or Bing for them. Some #DIY #hacks sound almost unbelievable and heck it does save us a whole load of pain.
It's amazing how plain simple creativity works wonders and some help beautify at the same time too. There's the tennis ball multi-everything holder. Or the Lego / Playmobil building blocks figurines holding on to those handphone cables. They sure look like fun. Why haven't we thought of them before? Hmm....

Hairspray
Thought hairspray is just for hair? You won't believe just how much more it can do.
- Leather cleaning - simply spray on the stain, wait for a few minutes, wipe away with a dry cloth and condition it with a leather conditioner. There you have a it! Stained leather cleaned.
- Threading through a needle - don't you just hate it when you can't get that thread through the needle? Just spray the end and voila, threading had never been easier.

Corks
Most of us would just throw away the wine bottle corks. But wait, here are a few simple hacks that we could all use. Save the earth at the same time. Every bit counts surely.
- Photo or card holder - cut the cork in half, cut a slight slit through the cork and there you have it, a photo or name card holder. Simple!
- Candle replacement - suddenly realised you've ran out of candles? Fret not. Fully soak a cork for 24 hours in a cup of alcohol. Take out the cork and light it up. And presto! An immediate candle replacement.
- Pot lid pick-up - too hot to handle? Ya, we know our lingerie are always hot. Hot pots lids too. Just slot the cork in between and lift. Easy peasy!
- Floating key ring - When keys just falls into a pool and just keeps sinking... DIY one in 3 really quick steps. Especially if you are going swimming right now.
- Cable tie - easily removable cable ties are a lot friendlier than having to cut those plastic ones each time. And you can even name your cable by simply writing it on the cork itself using it as a tag. Fantastic right?
